Biography
Koji Asano (1974)
Based in London(1993), Tokyo(1994-1998), Barcelona(1999-2004), Now in Tokyo again with his wife Reiko, son Harumi, daughter Akemi.
He releases CD album more than 40 titles from his own label “Solstice” and compose for acoustic instruments for Ensemble Die Reihe (Austria, 2004), Paragon Ensemble (Scotland, 2002), the Smith quartet (France, 1997) and Banda Municipal de Barcelona [Winds Orchestra] (Spain, 2001). He also known for laptop-base solo live performance more than 20 countries around the world.
Prolific and wide range variety of his original music is beyond the frames of the music category: "One of the most imaginative composers in the world" (All Music Guide).
